How we remove a tree safely
Every removal starts with an assessment of the tree, the site, and what’s around it — access, buildings, overhead lines, and anything below ground. Where a controlled directional fell is possible we use it; where it isn’t, sectional dismantling from the top down is the safer method. We cover both techniques in full on our Tree Felling page.
Tree Preservation Orders
Before removing any tree of significant size we check TPO and conservation area status with Cheshire West and Chester Council, or the relevant Welsh authority for sites in Flintshire and Wrexham. Where consent is needed we prepare and submit the application, included in the price for the work — see our Tree Preservation Order page for the full detail.
